Danger of Death is a hidden underground bar located in Brick Lane, London. Taking its inspiration from a nuclear bunker the subterranean location was celebrated in the naming, branding and visual identity of the bar. Walk in. Fall Out.

Menu Design

The menu design worked a little like a war-time ration card. Referred to as a death book visitors to the bar could collect stamps on each page in return for a free bar tab once completed with a bottle serve. With drinks rated according to their blast radius the cold war-style graphic design and typography tied in with the underground bunker vibes of the bar.
