Created by world leading bartenders, Hydra drinks gives customers the chance to craft sophisticated cocktails and cordials at home by simply adding water. Our minimal brand identity and packaging system is inspired by the companies sustainable nature and their 100% natural products. 


During our research we came across the work of Japanese artist Mori Yuzan and his book series entitled ‘Hamonshu: A Japanese Book of Wave and Ripple Designs’. Created in 1903 and now in the public domain, the books feature a series of delicate and organic drawings which felt like a perfect fit for the Hydra name and their approach to natural ingredients and sustainability. The chosen illustration, taken from Volume 3 of the Hamonshu series, felt particularly relevant with its obvious visual connotations of water and the earth.
