We were tasked with creating a new, contemporary brand identity for the British Association for Modern Mosaic.
In an effort to streamline the brands identity we dropped the old B.A.M.M. acronym and promoted 'Modern Mosaic' as the core typographic mark, making for a cleaner and more direct delivery of the brands message.
With our primary aim being to visually communicate the craft of mosaic art we used real ceramic tesserae pieces to create a playful typographic grid and logo lockup. Animated versions of the logo created for social media further explore the process of mosaic making by showing the individual pieces come together to form the brand.
