First cultivated in 1885, Pole Creek Ranch is a 345-acre ranch located in Sisters, Oregon. Taken over by the Cole family in 2017, we designed a contemporary brand identity to match their progressive vision for the ranch which includes weddings, events and retreats.

With cow farming still key to life at Pole Creek Ranch we took inspiration for the logo from traditional cattle branding irons and the way different letterforms are connecting into a unique shape.

The resulting logo mark is a contemporary take on this idea and forms an abstract ‘PCR’. The single line also represents Pole Creek itself - the winding creek that brings water and life to the ranch.
