We worked with Ukrainian refugee Oleksandra Derevianko to design a deeply personal book, documenting the messages sent between friends and family as Russia invaded her home country in 2022.
Typset in Ukrainian and English, the page design echoes the format in which the messages were sent - across social media, in WhatsApp groups and through private text messages. Documenting the outbreak of war in the 21st Century.
